Photograph after treatment and remounting
This project involved the conservation of a panoramic Silver gelatine print photograph from The Regimental Museum of The Royal Welsh. Conservation work done includes:
Removing the print from where it had been adhered to the glass
Surface cleaning the photograph and frame
Consolidating the flaking image with gelatine,
Rear repair and infilling using colour matched Japanese tissue paper
Remounting in the original frame.
